Nusenu Prince Mawuli

Nusenu Prince Mawuli is a Ghanaian born portrait collage artist based in Cape Town South Africa who uses African print fabric to create artwork on jute canvas, he focuses on social issues and youth empowerment, especially girl child and promoting recycling through art to save the environment, his work has been collected all over the world.

Two of his artworks, portraits of South African President Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, made from African print fabric on canvas were purchased by the City of Cape Town’s Mayor’s Office and form part of the City of Cape Town Collection.

He was third place winner in 2021 Vuleka art competition hosted by artB gallery Bellville.
