Starting today and running until Wednesday, 6 April, MIPTV, has confirmed several major international distributors, buyers and production companies for the much anticipated in-person market. MIPTV is a 3-day exhibition and conference, featuring MIPDoc and MIPFormats and in partnership with CANNESERIES, it is a global meeting place for the content industry.

MIP Africa offers a unique experience of pre-scheduled one-to-one matchmaking that guarantees meetings between distributors, producers, African buyers and commissioners to support programmes sales and co-production partnerships.
“It’s a major opportunity to spotlight the hottest film and television content to both African and international buyers,” Goddard notes, adding that with FAME Week Africa coming up in August 2022 in the globally-vaunted Host City of Cape Town, the FWA team is thrilled to be sending representatives to MIPTV Cannes and “bringing home as much knowledge as we can gather in three days”.
