Canada to attend FAME Week Africa

FAME Week Africa, headlined by MIP Africa and Muziki Africa, welcomes the Canadian entertainment market to the 2022 event, hosted by the City of Cape Town from 24 to 26 August 2022.

The Maple Leaf meets Table Mountain as Canada brings businesses to connect with Africa in the phenomenal Host City of Cape Town. Here’s who to look out for:


Canadian animation studio and intellectual property house Arcana focuses on combining engaging storytelling with compelling art.

Since its launch in 2004, Arcana has established itself as a successful player in the industry and an innovative leader in the development of intellectual property across all platforms.

Arcana is an innovative leader in the development of intellectual property across all platforms. The studio owns one of the world’s largest libraries of graphic novels and a separate library of intellectual property that contains more than five thousand characters transcending gender, age, cultural and geographic boundaries.

In 2012, Arcana opened an in-house animation division to develop and produce its content for all platforms including film, television, direct-to-home and digital media. In 2020, Arcana began producing and financing live-action feature films.
