Asekho Mjojeli is a photographer with a deep passion for story-telling and coffee. From imitating photographers with his mother’s old film camera he fell deeply in love with the art of capturing stories through photography. Upon moving to Cape Town from the Eastern Cape he met a Langa based photographer who would inspire him to immerse himself in the art of photography and allowed himself to learn as much as possible from the many artists in the community of Langa. He joined the Ukonwaba Photography Club where he first showcased his work. African stories have always inspired his work, using his photography to capture the ever evolving culture of South Africa.
